A man has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly assaulting a BMTC bus driver with deadly weapons after a road rage incident. The incident, which occurred on May 13, gained attention after visuals went viral on social media. Police are continuing efforts to apprehend the remaining two suspects.
The video of the incident which happened in Whitefield on Tuesday evening went viral on social media platforms.
At least one person was injured after an out-of-control state-owned Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus ploughed into multiple vehicles on a flyover in Bengaluru, police said on Tuesday.
Some of the worst-affected areas include Manyata Tech Park, BTM Layout, Ejipura Junction, HSR Layout 5th and 6th sectors and Silk Board Junction.

Several activists of pro-Kannada organisations were also whisked away by the police at Town Hall, as they gathered there to stage a protest.
"We have decided not to allow people from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu till May 31, but allowed in stages (staggered manner)," the CM said said.
